John brings more than four decades of experience shaping New York’s built environment. His portfolio spans commercial, high-end residential, and historic preservation work across NYC, the Hamptons, and the Hudson Valley — each reflecting his hands-on approach and deep respect for craftsmanship.

As a licensed NYC General Contractor, John has led projects from concept through completion, managing every phase — from planning and estimating to consultant coordination and site oversight. His deep experience across multiple project types gives him the perspective to solve problems quickly, protect budgets, and keep schedules on track.

Before co-founding ONEMillwork, John served as Partner at JCT Development, following six years as CEO of REDCOM CM and five years as Vice President of Construction at REDCOM Design & Construction, where he led the firm’s NYC division. His earlier career includes leadership roles at JMI Construction and Turner Construction, where he contributed to some of the city’s most iconic projects.

Career Highlights:
• Extell Development / The Stanhope Hotel (995 Fifth Avenue) – Owner’s Representative and Construction Manager for the transformation of the historic hotel into 26 luxury condominiums — NYC’s first to surpass $4,000 per square foot.
• JCT Development – Directed construction of major projects including 660 12th Avenue and 679 11th Avenue.
• Turner Construction – Key roles in developments including EF Hutton HQ, Citicorp Court Square, and the Lipstick Building curtain wall.
